Three Styles of Cross Country Skiing

Cross-country skiing is comprised of three different styles of skiing. These include 1) Classic, 2) Skate (or Free Skate), and 3) Telemark. Learn more at Wikipedia. The trails at Carey Lake offer terrain suitable for both Classic and Skate skiing. Giant's Ridge Ski Resort offers terrain suitable for all three styles of cross-country skiing. At "Club Ski" program events, you'll have your choice of either Classic or Skate style (technique).
