Enjoyable ski outings are for the most part determined by trail conditions.  However, a positive experience also has to do with skiers following the Trail Courtesy Rules.

CAREY LAKE COURTESY RULES:

  • Ski in the correct direction of the trail.  Trails are groomed for directional safety.
  • Do Not Litter.
  • Pets are not allowed on the trails.
  • Hiking is not allowed on the trails.
  • Herringbone on the flats to save the tracks for classical skiers.
  • Skate skiers - stay away from the tracks.
  • Passing - When another skier asks to pass, step to the side and let them by.
  • Passing Term to Use - "Track Please"
  • Remember - Ski Passes are required - wear your ski pass.

Please remind users of the Courtesy Rules.
